*: Worker Population Ratio has been calculated by dividing the estimated number of employed persons ( activity status code 11-51) by estimated number of persons [Reference :Table 21of Report No.537 for 66th round and Table 20 of Report No.515 for 61st  round.]

@: Unemployment Rates (UR) has been calculated by dividing the estimated number of unemployed persons (activity status code 81) by estimated number of persons in the labour force ( activity status code 11-81)  [Reference :Table 21of Report No.537 for 66th round and Table 20 of Report No.515 for 61st  round.]

#: Average wage/salary earnings  per day by regular wage/salaried employees of age 15-59 years has been taken from Table 43 of Report No.554 for 68th round Table 47 of Report No.537 for 66th round and  Table 47 of Report No.515 for 61st  round. For the 61st round, the figure for rural and urban sectors combined has been calculated as the weighted average of wage/salary earning per day in the rural and urban areas and the corresponding estimated person-days, (taken from Table 37 of Report No.515).
